As the 1 year mark since Hurricane Harvey hit Houston approaches, I wanted to do some year over year analysis on home appraisal values. My goal was to get an idea of the financial impact to home values after all the flooding that occurred in the area. This post shows the result of that analysis, along with some insights into new home developments through Power BI. The information is presented in a newsletter/bulletin format that includes a narrative along with visuals.
